Have been wearing this style of shoes for several years now

Have been wearing this style of shoes for several years now. I bought my first pair in France where Rierker is known as Lamonte. The shoes are super cute and comfortable. The big strike against them is the thinness of the sole. I live and walk in the city and the sole wears off in what seems no time. I do not understand why this design defect cannot be fixed. Shoes at that price are not dispensable.
